First time I open this thread and I hear about Lucy. I'm so sorry

I ordered one. My dealer was alocated one, he couldn't order another one if he wanted. I expect by the end of the year. Then there is the strike. Oh yeah, then there is the price.

Well, haven't been here since Ford screwed up my Ranger order 5 years ago. I ended up buying a Colorado ZR2, which has been a great truck by the way. Anyway, back to Ranger 5G. Just ordered my dealers one and only Raptor.

Well guys, I bailed. My dealer didn't do the required paperwork. New delivery date would have been March something. Took my 20 grand back and bought a new 2018 Colorado ZR2

My dealer now tells me end of February, which means mid March at best. Good thing I ordered mid August. Got my eye on a Colorado ZR2 now. Pretty pissed at my dealer.

I told him I needed a delivery date before I finished the ROVP paperwork. I.E. my license. He probably can't get a delivery date without my license. I ordered it 5 months ago, if this puts me out months, I'll look elsewhere.

08 F150 with 250,000 miles. If my Ranger shows up.

My dealer called me today to tell me he just found out about the ROVP. I ordered August 16th. If he tells me my order doesn't get entered until tomorrow (when I get him my lisence) and I have a delivery date in February, that will be a deal breaker.

Well, I just found out that my dealer had no idea what a ROVP was. I going to see him tomorrow. If I don't get a reasonable delivery date, I'll get my 20K back and walk away.

I like 'em, but with all those angles and contours, makes one wonder what they are made out of.

The ZR2 has a front locker?? That's cool. I would assume it also has a rear.

Nice, I love those BFG's, only tires I buy for my trucks. However, I always buy from a local shop. Might not save me every penny, but we need these small business', the only way they survive is if we support them.

My other toy is a 500 hp Corvette. Fuel economy is not high on my priority list.

So, 2WD with an open differential is basically 1 wheel drive. 4WD with front and rear open differential is 2 wheels powered. 2 wheel drive with a locker is 2 wheels powered. Food for thought. And, all season tires are NOT snow tires. I run studded snowies on both my wife's and daughters cars.

I agree, bed heights are getting rediculous.

Thanks RD. Should they list the towing capacity with aftermarket equipment?

Ford says 7500# towing with a trailer brake. Does Ford offer a trailer brake? I ordered the tow package, but it doesn't state that it comes with a brake controller.

VIN has been issued, I don't have it. Delivery ETA of 12/31/18
