We recently got another dog... I was hesitant, but so far, he seems to be a good fit.

Sad to report that Beck has crossed the rainbow bridge. He was 14 . Great dog and had a good life. Was our daughters dog until he couldn't climb up to her third floor condo in his old age.

Lived out his "retirement" years with us and we miss him greatly. It is comforting to remember that All dogs go to heaven. He would put that nose up in the air and sniff whatever was floating along in the breeze. I always wondered what he smelled, The cows down the road or may be some was grilling out. He loved a good neck rub.

Sorry to hear. I know losing a dog sucks.

Not to be too soon, but if you're looking for a dog, we took in a stray that was dumped and looking for a good family for him. I have 2 dogs already and can't handle 3, otherwise, I'd keep him.

He's a good looking boy.

He looks like a good one. Hope you can provide or find him a good home. We still have Joline. She was a rescue from the humane society. She lived at the LaGrange Ky. prison for a while in prisoner dog training program. They did a good job. She knows all the basic commands.

Riding in the Ranger is one of her most favorite things to do, right up there with keeping those pesky squirrels out of her yard.

She brought her owl that she had while in prison with her. She went out in the front bushes and dug out a nest for her baby. She hadn't figured out yet that she hit the dog lottery and she and her baby have full use of the house including "her" couch. It didn't take her long to become part of the family.

Posted this pic on another thread. Our two current kids, both rescue's...we've had 6 rescue's over the past 15 years, these are our current two...
Both were "throw-aways" found on the street, both less than a year old.
Ziggy on the left had a badly broken left leg that was never set or healed right, looked like a door closed on it. Got him from a shelter in Dallas, Tx.
Zoey on the right was just born with an underbite, and apparently was not wanted. Got her from a shelter in Maryland.
Both were just thrown out into the street where they were found and rescued. Had them now going on 5 years and the most loveable pups you could ever want....
Last pic is Ziggy after we had his leg operated on about 3 months after we got him, and partially repaired....they had to re-break it and re-set it...still limps, but he's good to go.

My kids gave me this for my birthday. They were both living here when they were pups. Now in their own home they visit on occasion. They love their old back yard a bunch!

I got one of these for my dog’s paw. It turned out terrible. I love this, my old man is 14 and I’ll always want to remember that snoot. Gotta pick this up.

Also, here’s our girl doing the opposite of “get down”.
