Wheelbase - Is the wheelbase the same on Scab and Screw?

Based on a guess I believe they are the same, anyone know? The reason for the question is I am going to put Amp-Research power steps on my Scab. They use the same kit for both Sacb and Screw but they have you cut them to shorten them for the Scab. If the wheel base is the same it seems there is no need to shorten them other than perhaps for looks,

It might.

But it might also make a good fix for the defective bed height.

I was going to say much the same; who cares if it looks a little odd if it gives you an extra step up to reach things in the front of the bed.

Wheelbase is the same, but cab and bed length are different. Putting the long power steps on a SCAB might make a convenient step for bed access if it was possible to put the SCEW step on a SCAB.
