What's up guys, superdannyboy here.
A couple months ago the abs light popped up on my dash, TC was instantly disabled, hill start assist disabled, parking sensors turned off, and precollision assist was turned off. Also, since the sensor couldn't correctly read speed, the electronic hydraulic assist on the steering wasn't working properly so it was stiffer at low speeds turning the wheel and just fine at higher speeds. My sct tuner didn't read any codes. Took the truck to AutoZone and they didn't read any codes.
Then I downloaded forscan and paid like $12 for a year subscription and made a booboo by pugging in the OBD2 cord for my sct tuner into my laptop. Instantly fried my motherboard so I got to upgrade to a newer laptop while I ordered the OBD2 cord that they recommend on the forscan website.
I plugged in the laptop and ran forscan where I got a code for the right rear wheel speed sensor.
I bought the rear wheel speed sensor from onlineFordpartscatalog.
I loosened the 8mm bolt holding the wheel sensor in. Unclipped the wire at the 4 locations and put in the new one.
