Did you ever decide on which kayak mounts? I'm having trouble determining which ones work with the Elevate.
Ended up getting the 22” foam blocks from Salamander paddle gear. They work really good on the Elevate cross bars.

Which style did you get? They look like they fit over the bars pretty well. I was thinking the SUV or XSUV ones should work.

When going local I put my kayak upside down in the bed of the truck and support it with a T-bar bed extender. When I go distances and need the bed for camping gear I use this set up. There's an extender in the hitch so the gate can be fully dropped and the stubby antenna is required.

AA-Racks Model APX25 is my all time favorite one. I love this rack! Assembly was simple. The bed clamps and hardware are solid and sturdy. The load stops are perfect for lumber and sticks of trim. Somehow lost an end cap so I called ustomer service thinking it would be a pain.

Crafting a kayak rack for my RV has never been simpler. Utilize a cargo carrier, bed extender, steel tubes, pool noodles, dual hitch, and anti-rattle stabilizers for a versatile solution. Not only can it securely transport kayaks, but I can also use it for other storage needs.

I just picked up my first kayak on Monday. I used the Pioneer Wrap Pads and a couple of cam straps to mount it to my Rhino Rack.

What’s the most economic cab height rack that is compatible with a hard tonneau? I want it just for a canoe (happy to put foam mounts under the front on the cab). Would love to be able to bring it while towing. To date I’ve just thrown in the bed with an extender. Not feasible while towing.
