I wonder how many people ordered 2023 Rangers and don't realize what they're getting.
I am on a Facebook group and there was a guy all excited because he got his order in for what he thought was the “all new” 2023 and was bragging that the dealer said it should arrive in just a few months without much delay. Everyone else had to explain that he is getting the same Ranger that’s been out since 2019. I still don’t think he believes it though.

We know what they're getting. With the decontenting going on, they are getting a drivers seat and a steering wheel. ?

Sorry, steering wheels are backordered until spring. These will be the substitute for now.

Umm, I think you may be trying to hoodwink us. There is no way that retro custom made steering wheel is being installed without some sort of upcharge.

I got to the point where I just stopped trying to explain to people that the 2023 was still going to be a Gen5. You say it and someone comes right behind you doubting or questioning it. Then someone else posts the same damn question and you tell them it's still a Gen5 and the same thing.

Do people really think that they are ordering something that hasn't even been officially announced or revealed?? Well apparently they do. LOL

I've had my 2023 order in since day one. Knew long before that what I would be ordering.

The problem is that the 2024's will be delayed till late 2025 because of a shortage of Fargenschnicles, which as you know are a part of the various nurocles that are produced only in a small town in lower eastern, but west of, WunHungLo, China. This may carry over and your 2024 may not be delivered till 2026.
Since there are no Fargenschnicle factories anywhere else, and none are planned, the vehicles that use them will be built and stock-piled at various stockyards across the US.
Experts have been warning of this happening cause at one time, the biggest Fargenschnicle factory was located in downtown Detroit, but moved many years ago overseas.
Now we are dependent on, and getting screwed , by, WunHungLo....
I would believe this except that these trucks are being built and shipped from Thailand and South Africa right now, I actually saw one on the road here - well in Victoria when I was on holiday a couple of weeks ago. I think you guys (North America) are being led on.

Some truck trivia: Prior to the 5g Ranger, what was the only other truck sold in America with a turbocharged, gasoline powered 4 cyl motor?

1986 - 1987 Toyota SR5 Pickup Truck. The 2.2L turbocharged motor was rated at 135 net hp.

And in case owners have any doubts about the turbo, they can read about it on the seats...

They use a totally different Farfenschnicles. It's reversed because their upside down from us.
Their units are built in reverse, from right to left, and have a reverse luoopen plug that is the opposite of ours. and they were able to stock up on them before the shortage hits them. And no, you cannot install a Farfenschnicles from theirs into ours...everything would be reversed.
It would be like a right handed person trying to use a left handed pencil....impossible.
