They should have reclipped it. Original clips would have been much more substantial than a zip-tie.
I'll get a picture up when I get a chance.

If they didn't have the cover, do you think they would have the clips? Or were the original clips still on the truck?

Original clips were still there. They pulled one of MY clips so they could use a zip-tie. :like:

Anyone else been around long enough to remember when Ford started the Blue Oval Service program. Dealerships that had exception service reviews were awarded a Blue Oval to display so people knew that they were the best. Unfortunately, they made the awards to ALL the dealers and the service never improved. Blue Oval meant as much as blue oval TP in the men's room. :(

IMO, the growth of dealership chains parallels the decline in customer service. I'm lucky to have a family-owned dealer nearby that has a great service reputation. If not for their proximity, I probably wouldn't be driving a Ford.
