Super excited to get this going…(going to be nice and not flash till my warranty expires.)
I’ll have it all set and ready to go most likely have the first couple steps done by the end of the month so the flash is ready to get flashy as soon as that warranty rolls off my lap.

Thanks again, you know who you are ❤

Wow, that got to you fast! The lady at USPS said expect it on Monday of next week so I figured you'd at least get it by Thursday. ?

Sorry I didn't sign it for ya but that could've opened up some lawsuits if/when you decided to sell it for a lot more money.:giggle:? ....j/k it probably would've depreciated the value to $0!?

Wifey looked at in and said I thought we were going with the ford performance tune….?
So I said (with confidence ?) “well these guys helped ford develop their tune.”
Pretty sure I read that on here somewhere…. It’ll give her something to look up and learn more about modifying our truck… or I’ll get a talking too if I have fed her misinformation ??

Just tell her it was a lot cheaper than the Ford tune and that should get you out of the dog house. But if she's like Annie you're doomed either way! ?

Hahaha I’ve seen that stance before ???.
Luckily she was only a tiny bit sided about it (she’s got a bit of the mod bug too…thankfully). She already found a detail she liked about it not being locked like the FPTune so I’m in the clear… for now?

A new flashlight, that's right Bob, a bidirectional flashlight from Olight.

I have a Maglite in Soupie but it's just a bit too big. I wanted to stay American made, but just can't find one more to my liking. I have Olights for home use and really like how long they last (there's one I use for backyard pee breaks (by Cheech, not me!) and night walks in the winter. I've had it for 3 or 4 years and have only charged it up a half dozen times.

Anyway ... I picked up an Olight Prowess for the possible Soupie replacement.

still fits well in the hand - and it has a mild crenellated bezel in case my damper arm can't swing my 30" breaker bar for friendly traffic disputes =p

i hope to install my bed lights soon, but this could help - lowest setting

derr, realized the next day that this would be a more stable use of it

not much steel to hang the magnet from, but this could help at night while I call AAA =D
07.jpg

comes with a holster and mounting clip
08.jpg

my knees won't hit it since I'm short, I'd need to anchor with more then the double-sided tape - anyone use plastic rivet fastener dealios for mounting to trim?
09.jpg

also comes with magnetic charging base, maybe do this somewhere - magnet strong enough to hold it upside down while city driving - would be nervous about hitting potholes though
10.jpg

that base has a standard 1/4" tripod threading and also has a rubber washer & double-sided tape - the light will also charge with the Olight magnetic connector cord

David I have zero experience with plastic rivets but I feel that applying some extra Gorilla double-side tape would work just fine. I do have lots of experience with 3M hi-strength double side (black/red) tape and the Gorilla brand double-side tape which is almost the same product and they hold everywhere except high heat which would probably not be as much of a concern in NH as it is in South NV?

Plastic rivets seem messy in that mounting location and lots of work. You'd have to remove the door panel, no?

and they leave a hole in the plastic if you need to change, remove or replace the mount . . .

Hmm, I'll have to try Gorilla. I use 3M VHB and their very expensive primer prep pens that clean better than just iso alcohol.

Even with that, my fire extinguisher "sticks" fell off last summer and they never get pulled on. =(

True on the holes, but they'll match the one in my head!

Good point and something to conider for sure. Hmm, me needs to have a think on all of this!

Thanks. =)

@subquark - this is true; I think the downside of tape is you will have to re-apply probably once a year, but at least you'll not permanently damage the truck. Plus if you use the thicker tape you will get a free shock absorber and the thing shouldn't rattle, either.

Picked up two of the “scratch-off” brand DPFE sensors from rock auto. Forgot the clips up top on the sensor are not the squeeze type like the lower end of the hose. Mine is currently not giving me an issue, so I’ll swap it out when I get back from the PNW.
