I got these side graphics, charcoal metallic to match the wheel well trim. 2nd set, got anxious and thought I could do them myself, I WAS WRONG. Now am waiting for a local guy to work me in and install.
Any way these could be stolen? My swing boxes.
Total install time was about 15 minutes.
Assuming your friendly neighborhood thieves don’t carry around bolt cutters, you can put a padlock on the cases and all the mounting hardware is covered. There’s an element of “security by obscurity” though. They would have to know to pull the handle and swing it before making off with it.Any way these could be stolen?
Where were you able to find the hardware for the cover. Everywhere I've tried to order it, the cancelled the order and said the hardware was discontinued....and I've tried about 10 different places....????Received: Engine Shroud Cover and bolts. Installed already, took less than 5 minutes.
Red circle in picture is where the. Lots go, and the green one is a bolt that is already there and the cover just snaps in to this bolt.
VERY good question. There is a place for a pad lock that prevents the case from swinging out. I have installed pad locks on the cases. Of course, the lid also locks. I might take a picture of the lock next time I am out.Any way these could be stolen?
Maybe we should paint the "yellow" pull handle black.Assuming your friendly neighborhood thieves don’t carry around bolt cutters, you can put a padlock on the cases and all the mounting hardware is covered. My dealer ordered the hardware with the cover. The dealer charged me about $33 for the cover and $12 for the four bolts. Two of the bolts actually hold down the cover. One just acts as a support on the left side and the fourth bolt is useless. I screwed it into a thread behind the cover.Where were you able to find the hardware for the cover. Any chance you have the template or size for the decals? Really digging that!Been busy. Installed Lo Pro today. Vinyl lettering front and rear. Tinted 25%, AVS Bug Deflector, LEDs License plate lamps
Lo Pro was a bear to install. I installed the same one on my Tacoma. Very easy. But done now and looking good.
