Had to go to the DMV and renew my drivers license before heading for Sherman to visit with Dad.

And we finally have gotten some cooler weather and a little bit of rain today.

I met up with Dad at Cracker Barrel for breakfast this morning. In the past we only got to do this if it was a holiday weekend.

And on the way out to our trucks I saw the Maverick Tremor that is there sometimes when we are there.

Nice little rig, if I do say so.
On the way home I stopped in Bonham and put $40.00 of 87 in it for $3.33 a gallon. Also stopped by the car wash and gave it a bath, and drove out to Lake Bonham.

Last time I went to Lake Bonham was last year the day before I had the 5100s put on it and had it leveled.

Yes Steve, Dad's truck is stock. The only thing that he changed was size and style of tires on it. They are 275/60R17 Goodyear Eagle RSAs.

I went to Dad's this morning for a little while, then stopped and put $35.00 of 87 in it at $3.49 a gallon. It went back up. And made a grab and go at Braums for cheese burger, fries and a Dr. Pepper.

Picked up a brand new Chevy today! Days like this I am glad I have a truck. Good thing I didn't see the box weight printed on it until it was installed and I was cutting up the box. The joys of 7+ decades.

Picked up a couple loads of firewood today. My body hurts sooooo bad after loading it, unloading and stacking 2 trailers full .
