Sat lovingly staring at Soupie during a downpour today. New electrical panel going in and no power, so me and the Cheech are being old men sitting in the dark garage.

But that's a pretty perfect day, in its own way. =)

I can think and have been in worse places. No rain here yet in the Sunday River area

It was a pretty decent soaking and much needed, as you also know too well.

It may still reach you, I think it's moving from south to north.

I had the tough job of using my ranger to haul all the goodies needed to set up a dorm room for my little girl. Ranger ran great. Not a very heavy load but it was packed.
About 250 miles one way.
What college . . . Rangers definitely help when moving the kids to/from the dorms. Even more fun when the A/C doesn't work (leaking expansion valve that has since been replaced). Pulled a 6 x 12 U-Haul with no problems!

I've been on the fence about insert letters but love the white on Race Red. And white would look great on the grill too, if I do them, I'll see if TuffSkinz had them in white (I think they have a lifetime guarantee).

Update: They do have both in gloss white ...

She made a good choice with JMU.
We're outside of Staunton, around 20 miles south...attend a lot of the JMU football games. Beautiful area. We're up in Harrisonburg at least weekly for dining out and the local Costco every 2-3 weeks.
Next time you visit, go to Bella Luna....best wood fired pizza you will ever have. About 2 miles from the campus.

Found these on Amazon, since I got the chrome package I figured I’d stick with the theme ?

I’ve seen others do colors that look great with there’s and it changes the look nicely

She had a brother graduate from there a few years back, so we got to know the campus and area. And we happy with the thing. My wife saw a post on Bella Luna and said the deserts look real good! So how is Staunton downtown? I read something about a nice place to visit and the shops.

Staunton is OK...mains street about 6 blocks long. Lot of specialty shops and local eateries, but you'll only spend a half day to see it all.
Waynesboro, 7 miles east of Staunton has a small downtown..a few shops and restraunts. Nothing to go out of your way for.
Nicest area for shops and walking would be Charlottesville...30 mile run on I-64 east. They have a dedicated walk thru only town center...many good eateries and shops.
The smallish downtown area of Harrisonburg is nice...easy way to kill an afternoon if you visit her.
Lot of the shops and eateries are geared to JMU/students/facility. Lot of grills/pubs/pizza...but pretty much all good...if there not they don't last too long.

That’s good to know. Maybe looking to venture out in the area more when we come up. Harrisonburg does have a lot of good things to offer and that’s one reason we like that town. Looking forward to a couple of football games too now that they made that jump to the FBS.

Not bad at all - a bit of a drought going on but the crops look good. Looking forward the crisp Fall air and just being outside. I'm in the Saint Cloud area but grew up in Inver Grove Heights. My oldest step-daughter attended the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. She met her now husband while in school and hasn't moved back. Second step-daughter just graduated from the U of M and is now in Grad School. My oldest son just graduated from Eau Claire and works for Wells Fargo - about two blocks from US Bank Stadium. Youngest son just started PSEO at Saint Cloud State University.

Hope the move-in went smooth! It's amazing how fast they grow up!

Thank You for sharing!

Not quite how I imagined my first time having the truck winched going. Dead battery and couldn’t get it jumped, so off to the dealer since it’s still under warranty. Hoping they can give me a new one today and not have to go through this again.
