What did you do to your Ranger today?

I Installed a Linkswell Gen 6 T-Style head unit. I was a pretty easy install. I am super pumped with it so far and will give a full write up once I get some more time with it.

This looks like the bigger version of what I installed in my 2005 Ranger years ago! Mine was a $100 Chinese Android dual din radio with rear license plate frame camera. It is all touchscreen but I insisted it have a volume / on off knob. Of course yours is more a tablet format, my unit had 6" deep box behind it!

I bought it through Alibaba. It's still playing and navigating 15 years on now. It is intentionally air gapped. I like it. It's simple, it works, and I pulled the 12v lighter and added 2 port USB port socket in its place so I could play my music.

The install looks good! Enjoy...

Does that one work with the factory rear view camera?

I tried one of those a while back but the vendor told me I had to use an aftermarket camera for rearview, AFTER I purchased it and they couldn't get it to work.

I ended up returning it.

I tried one of those a while back but the vendor told me I had to use an aftermarket camera for rearview, AFTER I purchased it and they couldn't get it to work.

I ended up returning it.

It does, it supports 360 if you have it too and they have input to add more cameras if you want. It keeps all your factory stuff functional the only thing is you have to run a different mic. There is a 3rd party module you can add to retain the factory mic but linkswell includes a mic so im running that for now.

Nice truck!! That's one of the options I was eyeballing when I decided I had to have a 12" screen with CarPlay but a new car loan payment wasn't in the budget for me. Enjoy!!

A banned member posted it a while back. It had links for install video. Thought it was pretty cool. But I have a T harness dsp and amp installed, so unless mine crashes I won't be upgrading it.

I went and got it dirty goin to see how low the river is. Truck is dirty, the river looks about like it did the last time that I drove out there.

Oh yah bedrug is so sick. When I put my decked in i left the bed rug, it kinda felt like a waste but maybe it helps keep things quieter back there and just the cover on the tailgate is worth leaving it in.

Or maybe you mean the soft topper? I LOVE that too i just wish i had more security when loaded up on camp trips.

The soft cover actually, but I also like the bed rug. I use a sheet of that "reclaimed rubber" that they make from recycled tyres in mine to stop stuff sliding around.
