What did you do to your Ranger today?

My Ranger complete with deer antler dented hood and I are headed to the dealership for a complete all fluid change at 149,800 miles. Well, after a short stop for a platecake and bacon washed down with coffee of course.

You need way more bacon than that. lol

That's why I don't buy bacon as often as I use to because I'll eat the whole darn package at one sitting. For me this stuff is like crack to an addict. lol

What did I do to my Ranger today?
Well, I went across the ferry to take the big girl for a ride. Got some groceries. And coming home, yep, you guessed it, two miles from the house I hit a buck so hard it broke both antlers clean off his head. . Fortunately, my “deer guard” absorbed most of the hit. The one antler put a dent in my hood which pissed me off royally. Need to see if the body shop can pop it out from underneath I hope. You can’t have anything nice anymore. I guess I’m fortunate I wasn’t in the CRV cause it most likely would have totaled it as hard as I hit it.

Thats an aluminum hood. Only so much can be done to take it out. Not like sheet metal of older cars. Pdr guys should be able to tell you what they can do. In a bad spot too.
Pdr guy made my big dent i to a small one and it turned out wavy. He said because its aluminum. And a small dent because he said he would crack the paint. I did not want that and was really happy with what he did.

My service writer said he would be happy to get the body shop to look at it. NOT.

Yeah i feel you. I use mine as work truck too. It still hurts when dents or pin striping happen at the deer lease. I do not throw things in my bed, i place them in my bed. But every friday afternoon i wash vacuum, sweep, and dust off the dash.
