What did you do to your Ranger today?

Hi Folks,

Since tomorrow, I will be in the Hospital for a look/see of my heart, I had to get things in order and one was to install the Ford Ranger step bar fillers. Not terribly difficult but a bit awkward for one person.

Not crazy about the bar masking the Ranger embossed logo though..... Depends on your approach angle.... Works well for the Chrome Package...

Sounds (being an electrical problem) like just a pacemaker to me, maybe an ablation, not a big deal …

Good Luck with your checkup Phil...no "Boomer" comments on the chrome package, like the guy who added flames to his hood received? Gotta teach some of these new age/millenial/whatever kids how to show some respect! Most of us have seen and done crap they can't even imagine

Good luck tomorrow Phil. Technology has come a long way so I'm sure if there's a problem it'll be an easy fix. Just make sure the Dr connects the wires right. ?

Most likely Electrical, but ruled out pacemaker. Big worry is a heart full of clots that can head to the brain causing stroke...Reason for not doing Ecocardiogram in the office and in the hospital. Really worried when Cardio doc admin asked if my affairs were in order....WTF????

Hope you are right on not a big deal... Anyway....a 2019 Ranger with under 3000 miles with some mods... would be on sale...

If they are worried about clots it sounds like a-fib. Been electrocardioverted 17 times myself, two failed ablations but meds keep me in SR. If you will need to be cardioverted they will make sure you are on blood thinners and no clots prior to cardioversion so you don't throw a clot. Don't understand not doing an EKG in the office.

Most heart problems can be controlled so as scary as it is you will get good advice.

My wife’s dad has has had a-fib for 40 years and is controlled with meds and blood thinners. He is 90. Tell your cardiologist you don’t have any affairs, you are Happily Married…
