tells me it is load related I would have them check rear axle fluid level as well I have had a pinion bearing make noise in the same fashion as this but different pitch probably because different rear end.

hmmmm, I want to lean towards fan clutch but that should be able to be replicated at a stop in neutral or park,
Have you grabbed the fan with your hand to see if there is anything weird going on?

So, I now ask - can you induce the noise if in drive and holding the brake pedal and giving it gas?
If no, then I would think driveline related - carrier bearing / rear end / Transmission Pump
If yes, then engine related, Belt/Idler Pulley / Tensioner - Fan Clutch
Water Pump - Bearing Squealing
Air Induction leak (suction squeal)
Air Pocket in the cooling system, noise is heard in the heater core (flowing)
Fuel flow issue at the HP Fuel Pump, clogged fuel injector- causing backpressure on the rail.

Worst Case Scenario as it oddly sounds like a scored Camshaft Bearing, I chased a similar noise down for a month on a chevy 4.3 years ago. Finally deduced bearing issue by watching the oil pressure flutter when the noise was present. It only did it when under a load.

The Ranger has a Variable Oil Pump (pressure) - May or may not be a related issue but something to keep in mind when T/Shooting.

No, it doesn't do it while holding the break pedal and giving it gas. I did just now leave the dealership after driving it with the shop foreman. He thinks it's coming from the right front area.
It will only make the noise once it's fully heated up and under load, what is making it more difficult is it doesn't always make the noise.

Ford told the dealer today to order a new Turbo for it. However the dealer thinks it's the transmission from all there sound data they did. Hopefully it's just the Turbo, I am ready to have my truck back.

FYI that's the same sound mine was making when I brought mine in, it's not your trans, they replaced mine and it's still here.

I think maybe the Turbo if it's in the engine bay or the rear end or carrier bearing if it's driveline

All this is spot on how mine behaves.
