I've done some research on which shocks most people will be putting on, and I just like anybody else to comment on getting rid of the FX4 shocks and replacing them and how you do and how do you feel about it. Thank you

the rear shocks are fairly easy to remove and replace with new ones. only two bolts per shock, one top and one bottom. the upgraded shocks are very much worth the money and effort! ride is better. ability improved and feels how it should have from factory. lots of options for type and brand. all the major brand name decent quality shocks will likely be better than the stock ones. typically fords factory shocks are not bad. i think they got truck loads of bad shocks from some manufacturer that they put on the 5g Fx4 trucks... driving style and use of the truck can help you decide what shocks to get.

I just changed out my rear shocks on my 21 FX4 with 4600 Bilstein and it really did make a difference. Worth the money and I do mostly highway driving.

I am thinking about these for my 2019 RWD when I get around to replacing them.

Is the part number Bilstein 24-294195 Rear B6 4600?

Yes that’s the shock number I used. I would think same for yours but not sure if 2wd and 4 wd are the same.
you will like the ride with them for sure.

I used Eibach pro truck 2.0 on the rear, only because Bilstein were out of stock at the time. Price was about the same. The fronts still seem a bit soft, but I'm satisfied with just rears.

I actually installed the 4600’s (Rears)as well yesterday. Have not taken for drive yet.
The 4600’s were a bit hard to find, out of stock. Did find them at Summit Racing though. I did a off truck compression check and the 4600’s did have a slight stiffer compression. My truck just hit 6,000 miles - so rears are basically still new.
