Wonder if the new one even gets a proper 4wd system...last one I believe just had an AWD system with no low range.

Major design defect spotted. VW, will surely have their hands full with yet again, a massive world-wide recall.

I don’t know how I feel about the VW. I mean it’s a ranger but I like the front end less than I do the maverick. And with the squared wheel wells - people might think I am driving a Chevy ?. If it has a tail dampener I might consider it ?

Except for the Ford Ranger....That VW Ranger looks better than any other mid-size truck out there...

The automatic transmission option lost low range, but the manuals had it.

The new Amarok is a reskinned Ford Ranger, there's no VW in it.

I was wondering if they were going to use the VW power window and door lock switches in it. They were notorious for falling apart in the 2000 to 2010 era VW's. No clue if they ever upped the quality.
