What vehicle is this module from?
I have no idea, I looked around and those part numbers look like the OE one in the Ranger, but on some listings on Alibaba and Amazon users with scammy looking names ( ie: Rongdishisaiwangluo ) are selling this one.

It's supposedly a copy of the 23' Ford explorer USB module, it even lights up like OE. I got mine off Amazon so if there are any issues it's returnable. So far no issues.

Do you have a Amazon link? Thanks!

I want to do this since the only reason I have USB-A lightning cables is for my cars, but man ~$100 is steep.

Agreed! I wonder what it would cost at a junk yard. It's been a long time but I always enjoyed walking the yard and pulling parts. Can only imagine the liability that would involve now.

From what I have researched there is not a factory replacement part # for a usb-c/usb-a module. All are aftermarket. The faceplate on the Ford Explorer module is smaller than the current one on the 5g ranger. Am I correct?

That is what it looks like to me as well.
