Since the new 2019 Ranger does not have a CD player, will you be able to download music on a "thumb drive" and insert it into one of the front USB ports to be able to play that downloaded music through the Sync 3 system?

USB will not play for me. Sync doesn't like mine. Going to ask my 25 yr old to try and figure it out before I loose my s@%t and ask for a real system put in without Sirius bs.

Ripping CD's to MP3 or OGG is "old school" before your 25 year old was even a twinkle in your eye yet :)

There are plenty of programs to rip with, all you have to do is have a flash drive with the proper formatting, and plug it in. Then pick the proper source. I'll see if I can get a few pictures of it the first time I try.

Sync 3 can be finicky on the type of USB stick (DOK) used for MP3's. I have several no name DOK's and had issues using them. No issues with Sandisk or Lexar DOK's. IIRC I'm using the exFAT format.
