So as some of you know I just got and installed the engine cover. So been busy the last couple days and also installed spring cushions in my Icon rear spring to get rid of the nasty squeak that they say no one has complained about:rolleyes:.
I also installed the UPR duel catch can that was an easy install on my 2021..
ā€˜Now the problem is that now the engine cover don’t fit lol.. Really don’t think I can modify it to fit so I may just sell it..
anyone do a mod to it? Or should I just leave it off like Ford did..

I'm guessing you installed the hose on the top of the motor under the engine cover using the 90 degree connector that came with it. You need to use a straight connector and may need to cut a little bit of the hose to get it to fit. You'll need to use a heat gun to soften the hose to get the connector on. YES, it was a royal PIA to push the connector on after cuttng the hose. Probably not necessary but, I used a hose clamp on it after I put it on (just in case) to keep it on. You can call UPR and ask them to send you the straight one and tell them the 90 will not fit under the cover. If they won't send one you'll nee to buy one if you want to use the cover. I also had to trim the cover a little (see pics - YEAH I KNOW, I NEED TO CLEAN THE ENGINE ?). Hope this helps.

Yes 90* fitting on the breather. That breather sticks up quite high. I Cleaned the engine:clap:

I contacted UPR and they sent me a piece of hose and a couple fittings At no charge as long as I send them a few pics of what I did to install the cover. Just had to shave the inside of the cover very carefully.

Glad you were able to get it installed WITH the cover ?

Don't be surprised if you see your pics added to their installation instructions ? and they add a question when ordering a catch can:

"DO YOU HAVE A ENGINE COVER INSTALLED?" ???

If you ask me, they should just put the straight connector in their kit and save everyone the hassle of having to ask them for it.
