Update Truck and Navigation downloads.

I guess I am the village idiot. I read on the Ford web page that there is a free navigation (map) download for my 2020 Ranger. It also stated the is an update for the truck. Following the instructions, the map program was download; I received an order number. My memory stick is empty, the program is no ware to be found in my computer, zipped or unzipped. I attempted to download the truck upgrade with the same results. I do not have a 4 year old to straighten me out: any suggestions?

check your downloads folder or try to download it again making sure that the save directory is pointing to your thumb drive

The file is massive at 10+ go so it will take 15-30min+ depending on your internet connection. Unless you specify otherwise, it will auto download to your computers download folder (c:\Users\”yourusername”\downloads). Once downloaded make sure you’ve formatted your 16gb+ thumb drive. Right click on the thumb drive within windows explorer and select format. Set the name to SyncMyRide and then set the format to be ExFAT. This will wipe your thumb drive clean. Now double click the zip file. and move all the three files on to the zip (either drag and drop or select all three files in the zip folder and right click copy, then right click paste the files to ur thumb drive. This will take some time depending on the speed of ur thumb drive. Once that’s done copying, take the zip license file and copy paste that under the sync folder (but do not unzip it) on your thumb dive. That’s it!
