I would totally be down to do something like this. But,,, life has other plans (sliders) for that area of the truck.

I may want to get them in the future,,, like after I swap out my OEM knees for the upgraded Titanium ones...

If you ( @Wolfbox ) are looking for testers of the running boards for a Ranger, I'm your huckleberry. Living in Vermont, they would be exposed to road salt, ice and snow in the winter, mud in the springtime, dirt and gravel in the summer and fall. They would also be exposed to passengers who would need them to get into the truck. And let's not forget the sunshine that graces us 60% of the days.

I'm out. I'm happy with my RB20 running boards, and I don't have the electrical know how of dealing with the wiring. I also don't have the proper tools or the time to deal with the install.
Time being the key word. We are back to having to work 6 to 7 days a week.
