Up lifter switches not working

So after spending some time to connect my ditch lights last night I ran into an issue (shocking)!
The up lifter switches weren’t working…
After going through some troubleshooting I found this…
the connector supplying power to the Aux box faulty (see pictures) how I found this.. I removed the aux box unplugged the 12 pin connector powering it and checked for voltage.. the pins were hot when the switches were activated.. so I plugged it back in and checked the opposite side and low and behold no power..

As I was reinstalling the box I could hear relays turning on and off so I took this video… it is clearly that connector as you can hear in the video..

thought I would share this in case someone else experienced this issue

turn up the sound when you watch the video.. near the end you’ll hear all the relays chatter when I move it more vigorously ..

fyi: I’ve got 30 plus years in electronic technology… and troubleshooting circuits

Thanks for sharing the experience and dignosis. What did you have to do the get it right?

I have a Tremor scheduled for production next week and am compiling a list of things for the dealer to test before I take delivery!

4 weeks before I can get service to look At it…if it wasn’t under warranty I’d bypass that connector and hardwire everything myself… the problem with electrical is they will blame me doing that for anything else that goes wrong down the road..
The truck 2 months old with 2k mile FFS..

Good point. I would be tempted to bypass the connector, or depin it and check for bad crimps etc.

Interested to hear what they find. Definitely adding this to my pre-delivery list.

a couple of things I would definitely check..
Up fitter switches
Literally Crawl under the vehicle and look for any dmg from shipping.. I had an issue with a bent tie rod bolt, had I not got the car leveled I would have never found it.. I posted about that also..
paint Flaws.. they are sloppy when it comes to decontaminating before painting they had to respray my door due to debris trapped under the paint.. and under my hood near the latch looks more like over spray then paint .. I found that this morning while cleaning my engine bay…

Those are the 3 items I have found on my tremor 2 months 2k miles old ..

Keep an eye on this forum there are things others have found..
I hope your truck comes in 100% problem free if that’s a thing… not sure it is…
