Unleashed tune?

I’m looking to get an SCTX4 tuner from Torrie. I have read threw 20+ plages and looks like this is the one to get. Question is is it easy to do the install another-words step by step instructions on how to load and what need to be done when you load the new tune? Not looking to make it the fastest it can be I would like it to shift like it should as not skipping gears and smooth out the acceleration with out it (feels like) going in and out of lockup. I run 89 octane all the time and if the engine tune needs to be altered to get it there I’m ok with that.. I sort of like the trailer mode but not like ing the constant down shifting wile going down hill or coming to a stop..
Any I input you have on this or the tune you have that looks like what I want is appreciate. Thanks

I know I didn't have much luck with this tune but I think (at least I think I was) my situation was a rare one. One thing to keep in mind is there is NO phone support through Unleashed and everything is done through emails. It's frustrating when your truck is completely locked up and your waiting for a response and having to go through multiple questions though an email.

Now on my '19 Ranger I had a Livernois tune and never had any issues flashing it. I've change tunes many times and every time they went smoothly. Before buying the tune I called them several times (asking a ton of dumb questions) and I can tell you that everyone there is super helpful and can walk you though it if needed. You'll get 2 tunes from the one being the tow tune and your choice of the 87-89 or 91-93 soft shift or performance tunes.

Personally I feel you get more bang for your buck with this tune and much better customer service. It really smoothed out the shifts on my '19 and had more than enough hp/tq to give you SMG...Smiles Per Gallon. ? My '23 has the updated CDF drum and has run smoothly since day one so that's the only reason I didn't tune this one. Plus I added a 10/100K warranty and didn't want to take any chances. That's my 0.02. :wink:

I had my dealer flash my 2023 XLT with the Ford Performance Tune (kept my warranty) and I'm very happy with it. Also, the addition of a MonsterPeddle throttle controller is a game changer..

Livernois is solid. I purchased their intercooler and they were responsive and helpful when I had questions.
