I have thought putting a camera up in the garage just to see what the truck does overnight, as my wife commented, your truck is making a noise. No FOB near the truck when this happened. So, I plan on doing an investigation and see exactly what wakes up when Ford Pass checks in on the truck and say's "How You Doing " can I check your Tire Pressure, Milage Etc. as I am not clear when and how often that event takes place.
So, it is possible the modules being woken up may trigger the lights to flash as if you were standing beside the truck with the FOB in your pocket. I do know that I can be in the garage with the FOB near the truck and I can hear modules powering up in anticipation of me opening the door and I am not even close to the door handles. Something's talking to the truck and it's not me.:computerrage:

I keep thinking this, remember the grille moved at the end of the movie, so she's still alive somewhere.

Anyone else experience this? Last night when my 2019 XLT FX4 Ranger was off and locked, my motion camera recorded 1 occurrence of the headlights going on for 1 second and then off. Very spooky.
I am having the same issue on my 2023 Tremor. My Cameras keep catching its headlights flashing at night and it is off and locked up for the night. I don’t have clue why it’s doing this.

It's your Ranger's resident Gnome.
Every Ranger has one assigned to the truck as it rolls off the assembly line.

Since you have a security cam, next time it does it- note the timeline and then check FordPass for last updated time.
As the checkup status is the only thing I can see causing this.
Except - Gnomes or Aliens ;)

If parked outside it could be a reflection of a passing car’s headlights.

I am reviving this thread because I had the same headlight flash last night. Never seen it before, any ideas? I checked and the truck was still locked. My app is at 5.18 which came out Apr. 28th, today is May 9th.
Attached is video from my camera.

Do you have truck connected to your WiFi SSID.
If so, It could be looking for updates or service alerts and doing a wakeup.

Yes, the truck is connected to my WiFi. I have FordPass installed on two Apple devices, one is at 5.18 and the other is at 5.17.1. Tonight I will update the second device to 5.18 and see if I get the flash. I doubt the camera would record a flash, if it was light out.
I will also check the Sync version. Last time when I updated it was manually for the Ford TSB last year.

I updated the FordPass on the second device and checked if the headlights flashed anytime after. Nothing happened. The Sync is at the latest version which was what I updated it to, last year. So, could not replicate the event.
I would be interested to know if any of the previous posters had any issues afterward.

I've had the truck since new. Always had a camera but this one was installed about two years ago. Previous version probably wouldn't have caught it. There is a reason, just have to keep searching.

Strange - because Door Lock / Unlock and even door opening triggering the Wake Circuit, should not trigger the Headlights (On) - From the video it looks like the Headlights triggered on.
It takes a Ignition Cycle to trigger the Headlights to (On), even a remote start only powers the Parking Lights.
Unlock Trigger - Park Lights & DRL, Puddle Lights & Cargo
Lock Trigger - Park Lights (Flash)
Door Open - Park Lights & DRL, Puddle Lights & Cargo
Ford Pass - Update Trigger (the only thing that you note that powers is the (Waste Gate Actuator) and it cycles.

On the older version of the App, you used to be able to view last updated (Time Stamp) of actual time and date, they recently updated the App to show (Time=Minutes Ago) you can also now swipe down and it will update the APP, which was also recently added back from the previous version.

Agree, the only trigger that cycles the headlamps is to turn the ignition to ON which would require the key. Lights are in automatic mode.
I went back to listen to the audio and no honk or sounds happened.
