Unable to Use Ford Pass Despite New Phone (New App Download) and Multiple Master Resets

I have been unable to use my FordPass App for months. I have done the master reset of Sync in the past, and still have had no luck. I was using an iPhone X previously.

I recently received a new phone (iPhone 12. I installed the FordPass Application brand new. I did the reset of the Sync System. I am still unable to use the application to lock/unlock my truck nor am I able to start it.

Is there a know issue with FordPass not working on iOS devices? Or might there be an issue electronically with my truck? Any insight would be appreciated.

Are your Fordpass settings turned on? Check the Sync3 settings under Fordpass Connect/Connectivity. If everything is turned on, then contact a Fordpass Guide through the app. They can run a test to see if the modem is responding. They helped me fix a similar issue with my Fusion last week.

If the modem is non-responsive, they will tell you to take it to the dealer, but you could try pulling the fuse for the modem first to reset it.

Do you have an AT&T cell signal? That is what your Ranger uses.

Just learn to live without it. It constantly screws up everytime they update it. They wanted me to drop it off for one week to update it manually. Yeah, not gonna happen.

I'm on IOs and not having any issues. Remote starts everyday with the timer set and can see all the data on my truck. Sounds like something isn't setup right. Did you use the Sync display in the truck to add your phone yet? That needs to be done first before you do anything else.
