Truck dash activates

Just curious if anybody experienced there dash activates with the key in the ignition and off after about 40 min.
Was taking a ferry to Kingston WA today and was sitting in my truck and waiting for the ferry to dock and noticed my dash activate, the gauges light up and the screen came on. in about 2 min it all went black (off). Was kind of thinking maybe someone else on the ferry has the same frequency as my truck does. Just kind of funny it happened. some people were starting there vehicles when this did it.

I have had mine come on like that as well, but it was closer to 20 minutes sitting in a parking lot. Not sure what it is causing it. Mine did the "shut off" animation with the squares and then showing the mileage

these trucks do stuff im not accustom to. last week after several hours on the highway and about 4 hours on trail i get home everything seems normal. i get out lock the truck and go in the house. about 30 mins later i go back out and notice the stereo is still playing in the truck and the touch screen is lit up and the lil door lock lights. i was like what the ???? i already took out my phone turned the key off and locked it up. gremlins, or my ignorance of what is normal operation. idk.

Yes my dash will do this if I sit in it for some time with the key in the off position.

A little fun fact. If you're sitting in it after turning the key off listening to the radio and it goes into shut down mode just press the on/off (center of volume knob) and the radio will still play.

Well, I have only had my truck for 10 days, and I’m dreaming, listening to y’all discuss spending time in yours. Getting intimate with it.
I work from home now, and it’s music to my ears if I here my wife mention the grocery store.

Lol, yeah... mine does the same thing. Was in the yard week ago , few feet away and the truck made a humming noise then a click and then nothing. Sitting there scratching my head.

This truck makes so many different clicks, groans, and whistles just sitting there by itself, I sometimes wonder if it's SkyNet becoming self-aware.

The radio definitely has a mind of it's own. Won't turn on sometimes, turns on by itself other times.
