I love that color.

It does look great. I like any of the light/bright colors with the sport package Magnetic metallic that really pops. I personally wouldn't buy the gray tho just because it's becoming so cliche. Toyota is the first I can think used it, maybe not, but everyone seems to have a similar color in their portfolio and since it's new, it's like the popular baby name of the year that everyone uses. Kind of like the bright blue metallic of a few years used by all manufacturers. Absolutely sharp, but overplayed. When I was a kid thru the 80's, it seemed like every other vehicle on the road was bright red. I was so sick of red. But now, I'd seriously consider race red on almost any Ford just because it's so neutral as far as how many you see.

Do you have abjecrive info or current insights on ordrer to delivery lead time for a Tremor? Dealers are vague "8-10 weeks"...

How long should vin assignment take in todays market?

Just heard from the dealer. Vin is assigned, and expected delivery is May 20, or just under 13 weeks from order date.

Mine was invoiced on March 23rd and went into production on April 1 and has an eta of the 26th. Can't wait; will have been a
long 90 days!! ?

BTW...The chip shortage is real. Dealer friend used to work for Ford as an executive. He said production is going to come to a near crashing halt. Used car prices at the auctions jumped over 20% last week as dealers are scrambling to fill their lots as they are expecting very little inventory for the next several months. They had 30+ allocated last week and not one vehicle was pulled for production.

It's been taking 90 days or so for retail orders, but if you are just now ordering I would expect far longer and possible delays based on what he knows from his Ford exec buddies.

Gonna get ugly with demand high. 2020 raptors even with 20k+ miles have been bringing 5k+ over full new msrp as an example. Not sure that there will be many deals on used for a while and dealers might get tighter on price on new.

This will be interesting to watch!

Ordered 3/13/21...Dealer said 8-12 weeks for delivery. Dealer emailed VIN# on 3/26. Update from dealer on 4/1: Ford says build date of 5/13 and dealer estimates delivery late May (at the earliest), but likely early June . Tracking site still says: "In Order Processing". Based on the dates/timeline above, anyone know how long before the build date should I expect to see the window sticker? Thanks!
