Here's what helped me retain my sanity with TPMS issues on my Ranger and F-150.
First, this $13 TPMS tool:
Arozk TPMS19 TPMS Reset Tool Sensor Relearn Reset Tool for Ford Lincoln and Mazda Tire Pressure Monitor System Sensor Programming Training Activation Tool TPMS Trigger Tool Tire Sensors Reset Tool
https://a.co/d/4jbgnb3
Then follow this procedure (if you have the physical key start and not a push button start):
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/thre...-trained-during-tire-rotation.5505/post-89079
(Procedure is different with my push-button start F-150.)
Even if the truck relearns the sensors in their new positions once a tire sensor is entered into memory, I still do this every time to ensure my 5-wheel rotation runs without issue. I'd do this even if I were running a 4-wheel rotation.
The above method (not the "delate tire" method, which is - to me - a PIA) helped me figure out twice that I was having a bad tire sensor problem rather than a problem with the pick-up module.
