So got a new set of tires on my 2019 Lariat (Cooper AT3-4S) and tire pressure on the dash data screen was a bit strange. I manually equalized all the tires and checked the data screen again. While it registers the changes +/-, all the tires read 10 psi higher than actual??? Anyone have any insight??

Im beginning to apply an old software development line, “it’s not a defect, but a feature!”

Are you driving the truck after making the pressure adjustments? It can take a minute or two to register properly.

The TPMS reading may differ one or two psi from a good tire gauge.when the tires are cold. Towing on a hot day may increase psi 8-9psi. Be sure that you are adjusting the pressure when the tires are cold, and check again after driving a couple blocks.. The tires won't have warmed appreciably, and the TPMS sensors will have had enough revolutions to read the new psi.

Sometimes it takes a while for the display to show an accurate reading.
couple weeks ago when I aired up my tires to 32psi, the rear right displayed 25 for about 3-4 days or 60 miles.

Of course, rely on the tire gauge not the display from the truck.

As said by others. It will take a bit after driving to update with accurate pressure.

Yup…I’m aware that it takes some time for the changes to register…What I’m struggling with is that after an appropriate period all readings are ten pounds over????

My psi appeared higher than the actual pressure before too. Same deal; took a couple days for it to read low 30s not mid 40s.

Give it a couple days/drives... should level out.
