After much research I went with BFG Trail Terrain in stock size. They are good in winter conditions, quiet on the hwy, and mileage stayed the same as the Bridgestone's. Very happy.

My Dad and I both have Goodyear tires on our trucks. Dad is running a 275/60R17 Goodyear Eagle GT tire on his F150 and I am currently running Goodyear Wrangler HTs on my Ranger in the stock size 255/65R17, I was talking to Dad about it this afternoon when I went over to visit with him, and on the next set of tires I going to run a Goodyear Wrangler AT tire. Ever since I joined this forum I have been venturing off road more. Specifically the road that I take to get to the Red River is a loose, sandy base with gravel on top. JMO!

As I mentioned in a previous post in this tread, I replaced the original BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires on my 2012 Jeep Rubicon with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires (5 each). I really liked their performance off-road and were also good on the street. I have since given the 2012 Jeep to my Grandson who is attended college in Wisconsin and I purchase a 2025 Jeep Rubicon which came with BF Goodrich K02s. I've been happy with my Cooper Discoverer AT3s 265/60 18 52000 miles now. Decent value, good on snow, slab ice, gravel, river rock, and baby heads, also wet ~2in deep sand. Mpg drop from the OEM Hankooks is negligible. They're humming more now at 5-6/32 , but I'll likely get their updated Discoverer Road and Trail next.
