Definitely a lightweight racing saddle. Seasoned riders who are in the saddle all the time get used to something like this in a hurry. And that’s just it - it takes getting used to - ain’t nobody got time for that, especially when those two tiny spots on your pelvis settle onto the saddle after a long ride the day before. Thanks for your reply!
It's also about doing the proper seat adjustments which can make or break the comfort tolerance. Size and shape can also make a difference on where the sit bones are positioned. My sit bones could not adjust to the 1st seat no matter what I tried. It was a WTB Salsa seat with thin padding and probably more for performance than a typical bike seat. Most of the research indicated that gel has the best comfort level and so far working out...hope this is the fix

So, I get it, why should you have to get used to something when you can always be comfy? Hard core riders don’t want to give up performance for comfort and it’s all about riding position for performance, hence the tiny saddle. With Jason riding a Fizik, he’s definitely about performance and that’s a killer saddle - in more ways than one. ? I’ve ridden a Fizik - actually very comfortable.
