Any other mods? I’m looking at the new Mishimoto CAI but haven’t decided yet.

Is there a reason for going with the k&n and not a CAI?
No specific reason. I'm sure a CAI would be more effective, but I'm trying not to stray too far from stock. Only at 10k miles, I'd love to keep as much of my warranty as possible.

Copy that. Sounds like what you have done so far is working out pretty well.

I like the look of the Mishimoto box from what they show on the site. They are upping their game at Mishimoto these days for sure.

so I finally got mine all installed and man, I’m super stoked on the sound!!
Did full video shoot so will have a little video coming up here soon.
I couldn’t be happier though and no lie I was hesitant and did not want to have an import sound from the truck. AWE did not disappoint.
Stay tuned....

Outstanding, how did the install go?
Ordered mine 3 weeks ago and I’m patiently waiting for it to arrive.

Getting mine installed at Function Factory Performance right now! They'll have an installation video of it soon.
So jealous! Let know what you think once it’s installed.

Installation is one nut removal. And a few clamps to put on. Maybe a 45 min installation lol. This is not an item I would ever waste my money to have anyone install. Super straight forward super easy. Very well made product. Sounds amazing

Sounds good any issues getting the OEM exhaust out? Did you jack up the truck or leave it on the tires for the swap?
I have installed a cat back on both my F-150 which was super easy no jacking maybe an hour (system was from Banks sounded great) and the other on my Focus ST not hard but needed the whole car up in the air as I replaced the aft motor mount at the same time ( that system was MBRP again sounded great and that what I almost got for the Ranger before hearing so many great things from others on this forum about their AWE.
