Dealership sticker, then once legit license plates came in dealership surround. It was black with huge yellow letters. It was awful.

I still can't seem to shut mine off. Doesn't show up on the touchscreen settings.

1st thing I took off ? ...Paint ... some on the hood , some on the fender... gonna rename my truck "Chip"...

I had told the salesman absolutely NO dealers emblems on my truck. I said unless I can hang my company sign from your building, you're not advertising on my truck. After that was the tires, who knew a brand new truck needed new tires but thanks to many here on R5G I found out it did lol

Some may not remember but years ago they use to rivet the dealers emblems to the rear trunk. Just be glad they did away with those. They then went to a double sided tape but the emblems were still very large and a pain to remove if you didn't do it right away.

So after buying my Ranger and getting it home I'm looking around from different angles and to me this just doesn't look right. Tall piece of black Tupperware.
Trying to figure out whether it is purely a design cosmetic feature (that seems to be on many cars and trucks now) or actually serves some purpose.
I know there are many who probably like it but it isn't working for me.
Anyway It was my first mod and I like it better with out.

Sometimes that flap is to prevent positive pressure behind the radiator, don't know about the Ranger but some cars will run hot at speed without that flap, the air stalls at the radiator, the air pressure underneath is as strong as the air pressure at the grill.

Vehicles with smaller grill openings are very sensitive to changes in airflow across the radiator, not to mention having negative pressure under the front (with the flap) should also help any positive pressure lifting effects at higher speeds.

It may be more than decoration, gotta figure, if Ford could delete it they would.

I have been thinking about that stupid ECO part of that sticker. I aint no GD eco freak. How about changing the E to a F and the O to a U? What do you think?

Hasn't come in yet but debating on a bull bar. Most of them want to remove the factory bash plate on the FX4 models...not sure about this part yet.

Definitely removing all dealership ads. Not sure about anything else yet.
