Tailgate Removal

I will need to remove the tailgate to install the applique. Question is where is the best place to disconnect the camera, I am guessing it would be under the truck.

Yes, there is a connector under the center of the tailgate for the camera and the tailgate lock wiring. There should be a cap for the truck side of the connector in your glove box if you decide to leave the tailgate off for some reason.

Small tip, a sawhorse with a towel can help you handle the tailgate a bit more easily.

It's not heavy but can be awkward to handle.
