Not to bad considering the miles you got out of it I just hope mine stays out of the shop !?
It won't. The top heads will fail anywhere from 30 to 100 thousand miles. There's a definite problem with the 3.6 something to do with the valve guides. Mine was rebuilt at 100,000 miles and Dodge paid for it because they knew it was a problem. They keep climbing it is fixed but it still has not been. I wouldn't buy another one.

What is this negativity. There is plenty possibility his could give him plenty of trouble free miles. I have a friend that has a ram with the pentastar 3.6 that has done just fine, no serious head issues. I want to say he is at 105 or 110. Now, he hasn't used the truck for any serious off-road work and he occasionally tows some jetskis or a light boat so no heavy loads, but it is doing fine. Just be happy for the guy that he has a truck he likes. Take your negative stuff somewhere else....geez.

So when my sales rep sent me my new build sheet with the deleted LED headlights. The base MSRP was also increased by Ford. I did have the first one signed, so just trying to get my ducks in a row when I finish. Still waiting on a build though first.

You're like the negative mom in here. I'm just telling you what's going to happen and then you want to complain about it. I recommend that you go to Amazon and look up life. I hear they have those on sale right now
He is a negative mom for sure, read his other comments. With that being said he’s not wrong. The guy has a beautiful new truck, let the man enjoy it and best of luck to him

I am not getting paid by anyone. It's no business of yours who I voted for, nor does who I voted for have anything to do with you being so negative and me telling you to chill. I tell my four children the same thing. Thankfully they have learned the value of being positive. I'm not leaving, as I like the forum , most people seem to be good spirited. I was willi g to let you be Oscar until you multiple times decided to kill a guys I e on his new truck. This thread overall is in a general good sense and effort for everyone waiting. I just don't like complainers. You have proven to be one.

Ram has the best looking trucks out there imo , fronts just have an "atttitude look" or something , a midsize version of that truck would be sweet and im not sure why it doesn't exist...
Agreed! And the trx is beastly. If they had a mid size trx with a similar styling I would sore pressed on the decision.

Yep, I'm willing to call you out on being a completely buzzkill. I offered a positive experience to your insurance that every single ram V6 has had major head work required. That's bunk and you have no grounds to claim that. I deal with plenty of life my friend. I know not all is roses but I try to continue to see the positive aspects. I am also going to call out people killing someone else's good time. So yeah I could you put to quit killing the guys new truck excitement. Take a hike
I understand that was 2011 to 2018 engines with head problems. The newer ones have taken care of the issues. It looks to be a good choice for improved fuel milage in the newer RAMs if you're not towing much. I'd trust its longevity more then a turbo engine with ASS.

Ford has created a new customer relations problem we should call Wait Rage. It's caused by seeing Rangers built weeks after yours being delivered before yours.
