Hi Everybody,
I am new to the forum and considering a Ranger. I was wondering if any of you have driven both the SuperCab and the SuperCrew and noticed a difference in the ride quality. I rarely use the backseat for passengers, so I am considering the SuperCab, but if the SuperCrew had a better ride quality, I would definitely opt for that.

I am looking at a lower end Ranger. Perhaps an XL with upgraded wheels or a STX. I love the grey exterior. I would appreciate any feedback on what a good starting point below MSRP would be.

Didn't drive a crew. My gut tells me there won't be any significant changes. They're the same frame.

We drove both... there is no difference. Same wheelbase, only a few hundred pounds difference in weight.

We bought an XL SuperCab but with the FX4 package. See my build thread below for my information.

And to that point, there is a bit lower payload on the crew, but not much. Few hundred pounds, same as the weight diff.

I had a '20 SCab FX4 and now have a "21 SCrew Tremor. Honestly if the Tremor package were available in a SCab I would have preferred it due to the front doors being 5" longer. If you are ot or over 6' the extra length of egress is nice not only entering and exiting, but also where the B pillar sits when the seat is in the correct position for a taller person. Can't speak to ride because the FX4 and Tremor and like driving 2 different trucks. No way to compare although they are on the same frame so I can't imagine much difference if any if both suspension setups were equal.

Damn, well that explains why my elbow can’t sit on the arm rest lol. I have to put my forearm on it instead
