I wonder if licensing is expensive or if designing a stamped 'vanity cover' backed with heat/noise material and producing them in a significant number could happen. The barrier would be what price point and volume would make this a break even or profitable business proposal.Hi Folks,
There might be an aftermarket supplier that picks up the tooling and starts making them. It is known that Ford in some cases shops the tooling to see if there is any interest. Or...maybe Ford Performance will step in and offer it at sky high prices....
Usually if Aftermarket picks up there is a contract to guarantee a certain number of parts for a set number of years for Ford usage...Not sure if this would be the case here but there is some hope something like this will happen....JMO....
