I am just glad not one forum member test drove their truck (wallowing ride, weird transmission) or even looked at it (nose down attitude, panel gaps) before they bought it.
This forum would be a lonely place if we had.
I did.
Wallowing ride? What's that?
Weird transmission? Not on my '21
Nose down? Had dealer add leveling kit.
Panel Gaps? Don't care. It's a truck, not a handmade Rolls Royce.

Retired, work is a four letter word.

With the exception of one loose speaker plug my 21 has been perfect (after a front end lift), no issues at all. Trans has been fine after I added 2 qts of ULV, so I must have gotten a Wednesday build.

A similar thing happened to me two weeks ago . I parked the truck around 7:30 pm , came back out around 10:30 and no power at all . No interior lights nothing . I tried boosting the truck off with my wife’s rav4 thinking my battery was dead and after connecting the cables still no power. I was in disbelief . I unhooked the cables and attempted to remote start it (with the app) and it came to life . Hasn’t done it since . I figured maybe it was an over the air update taking place or something idk …

Except the defective/poorly designed transmission and high rake of the truck.
I unknowingly fixed my transmission issues. Changed the transfer case and rear diff fluids one day..... took it for a drive and the odd shifting/gear hunting disappeared. Noticed the improvement just backing it out of my garage.

This just happened to me. Had to put the key in manually to unlock the doors as the key fob would not unlock them. Everything was dead turned the ignition key and the truck wouldn’t start. Was about the call a tow truck, but read this thread. I hit the radio volume knob and everything turned on and the truck started. Do we know the cause of this? Don’t want to get stranded somewhere…

Have not narrowed it down to specific reason - YET
Just a lazy (Can-Bus) not transmitting the message that either door has been opened or the door locks have been triggered along the (HS1-Can Bus) and its internal to the BCM. The main (Micro-Controller) in the BCM appears to be the pinpoint issue, once the BCM timed relays time out or a new power cycle across the circuit appears to be the cure to get the communication back to normal ops.
So far the issue is reported as rare and would not worry about it unless it becomes a consistent event (Repeat Issues), due to this being a rare event we only have circuit (Wiring Diagrams) to rely on until it hard faults where it can be confirmed fix, I can only think of (1) BCM that had to be replaced for a No Start issue.
The owner had a shop T-Shoot and replace it, so I do not know the specific circuit they found bad. I can assume it was the (Micro-Controller) that I believe to be the root cause.

Details on this issue are here.
