This is a huge reason why modern vehicles have so many issues I think. Software controls more and more and the quality of software continues to decline - "we can just do an update" - ugh.
That's why they do it. There's more money for them in repairs once it's out of warranty. Just look at all the crap (tech) in the new appliances. Who needs wifi in your fridge, dishwasher or stove :question:

No, I don't need/want an app for that.

I can't see removing the turn signal stalk and think that would be a hard one to get use to. But then again most don't use the darn things anyways! 🤬
You would've thought BMW would've been the first to try this.

Then again, if BMW did it, their drivers wouldn't notice they were missing for several years.
