I installed the RSI smart cap but have Thule aero bars that I bought for the cab. I would like to adapt the bars to the smart cap (if possible)
Has anyone done this?
Not sure it would even be worth it, but would at least like to look into it. The smart cap load bars are 249.00 but still not in stock.
Just the Thule feet came more than that.
I reached out to Etrailer which they reached out to Thule, but the part they suggested would not work.

I have the SmartCap as well, and have their load bars. Mine came with a bunch of the the nuts that slide into the tracks on top. I'd imagine with some ingenuity, you can use the nuts to make it work. If you could post a pic of what the feet look like it'd help. I doubt you'll find any off-the-shelf solutions.

Here is the foot (adapter) specific to the Ranger roofline contours. As you can see they are more money than the entire RSO Load Bars (even without the actual rack) CRAZY.

Here is the Adapter that attaches to the bars. The foot attaches to the bottom of this.
After again looking around for an adapter and Thule's ridiculous prices. I may just wait for the RSI load bars to come in. Then I will try to sell the Thule bars (at a great loss)
I an get them for about $250.00 (unless when they finally ship to the distributors, their is a price increase. I already received an email from CarID and they said the Smartcap increase is coming in January.

FYI for anyone on the fence for buying the RSI SmartCap. Received this email a few days ago.

We hope you're having a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season! As 2022 is quickly approaching, we want to inform you of the impending price increase for all SmartCap Stainless Steel Truck Caps. But don't worry, there's still time to lock in the old price!

Due to ongoing supply chain constraints and material cost increases, all SmartCap Authorized Dealers will be forced to increase the Minimum Advertised Price for SmartCap models by $300 no later than January 1, 2022.

PLEASE NOTE: All orders must be placed with OffroadAlliance.com by 12:00pm EST on 12/30/21 to lock in the old price.

Yeah, you may want to just wait after seeing brackets.

Here's a suggestion. Off-road Alliance has the full-size bars in stock. Which are just longer versions on the mid-size. 53" rather than 45". You could mount them as is if you don't mind them sticking out or take a band saw and shorten them up. There's just plastic caps on the end of them that can be removed. Cost is the same as the mid-size bars.

Are the mountings along the Load bars movable (distance between feet)
