if you are anywhere near a Discount Tire / America's Tire, they do free flat repairs.
Free if you bought tires from them...

Is that simply a puncture? Happens over 2-3 days...
I .found an offending "brad" nail...1/16" but am going to leave it in to save the hassle of fixing it since its only loosing 1/5 psi once a week... ?

I don’t have a flat, just wondering if anybody here heard of this product. Thanks for the info though, that’s good to know.:fistbump:
That was meant for the OP. If you (the generic you, not you specifically) want to get in to flat repair science (ok, not science, but ... you get the idea) there is a correct way to fix flats that involve taking the tire off the rim and patch/plugging the tire from the inside. Any of the 'emergency' kits are good for when you can't get it done correctly, but will usually tear the belts inside the tire while installing the plug. I don't recommend using the plug kits unless you have to.

Free no matter where you bought them. They do it as a way to earn your business. I fixed many a flat tire not purchased from Discount in my many years working there.
Really...I didn't know that...

Yup. Discount Tire does a really good job of taking care of everyone, for most things. They will rotate tires (not balance) for free too. They probably wouldn't love that I am telling people this... haha. Air checks too (filling them up to appropriate or making sure they are good). Ultimately, since it's a business, they are trying to get people in the door so that, if needed (and I can say confidently, it will only be if needed) they can recommend tire replacement and earn your business by taking care of you when they can. I will always go to Discount Tire for tires because of the service. I have always been taken care of, even when they don't know I used to work there. My local shop doesn't know me from Adam, and I still get treated well (even when I had the stockers).

There are only a few businesses that I will vehemently recommend. Discount Tire is one of them.

I'd pull the brad, stuff a rope plug in it and never worry about it again. I've used dozens of them even on my motorcycle tires and never ever had an issue with one.

We absolutely do love you sharing this :sunglasses: Thank you for the kind words as well as your continued support!

Flat tires are certainly a pain and always seem to happen at the worst time (though is there a good time?) Aside from that, a flat is a safety concern which is why we feel it's important to offer comprehensive flat tire repair service at no charge, regardless of where the tires were purchased.
