I’ve been playing with tire pressures on my truck. I’m running Falken WildPeak A/T3W tires in a 275/65-18. So far I’ve found that running less in the rear doesn’t seem to effect my gas mileage but it does have a significant impact on smoothing out the rear end.
Right now I’m running 38psi front, 33 psi rear. I carry a portable pump with me if I were in a bind and needed to haul an unexpected heavy load. But for daily driving I simply don’t need the matching tire pressure in the rear, it’s overkill.
