Will never order from Tasca again, pricing was great but they take forever. And, unlike some they deposit your money and sit on it while they decide whether or not to order your parts.
Sadly, this is the experience I've had twice now with them.

I was watching a video on changing the oil on my 2019 Ranger. It showed removing a skid plate to help keep things from getting messy when draining the oil. My truck, 2WD does not have the skid plate. Is the skid plate only for 4WD or off road applications?
On 2wd, crawl under it with a pan and a 15mm wrench. Remove the plug and oil drains straight down without removing anything, let drain and replace plug. Turn steering wheel all the way to the right and remove rear half of plastic retainers on flap on inner fender. Fold flap forward and tuck behind the brake line. Reposition the drain pan, Remove filter and it drains, partly straight down and partly from a plastic trough under filter. NOTHING to it.

There are a few other threads going over this. There are a series of skid plates for the Ranger, the FX4 having all of them. I am not 100% positive, but I believe all 4x4 models, without FX4, have all but the front metallic plate, FD032B. See the diagram below:

I am considering adding KB3Z-5D032-A to my 2wd. Does anyone know if the “A” part will fit with the stock air dam??

IDK, all i can tell you is that i had a fake plastic 'Decorative' 'skidplate' that i had to remove prior to fitting the 'B' model. It came out with a bunch small bolts accros the front. That's because i have a FX2. The B model plate seats farther forward then the 'A' model. Buy it and see, 'A' Plates are pretty cheap cost wise. Don't forget you'll need a set of 4x4 tow hooks, and bolts, if your going to do the trans plate as well, As the 2x4 hooks lack the skid plate brackets.

I just got the B plate in the mail today for my 4x4 non-FX4. Scrubbed the finish off with steel wool and put a few coats of Herculiner on it to match my black truck. Anxiously awaiting install upon drying.
So the B plate you got had a finish on it? What color was it?

It must be an early 2019 build then, because all the later FX2s, like mine, came with a fake plastic half front plate. Why I changed mine to the steel plate and add the trans plate.

B plate, which is the larger one, is painted silver. My understanding is that you either get the A plate or B plate. Base models 4x4s get the A plate, FX4s get the B plate.

Its a 2020. It has the FX2 package, which includes the bigger skid plate.

well, F*** me, plastic as hell. So much for the components of the $595 FX2 Package!
Hey Man, It's still a great deal. Locking Diff is worth that alone. Look at the bright side, you didn't (apparently) go off roading yet! You'll need the Trans plate too! LoLz...
Check out my Add thread linked above...

It's a sad, sad world we live in..... shakes head.
