3 cats, all rescues of some sort, found Harry this summer in a nursing home parking lot, 8 weeks old at the most and sick, almost died but have a great local vet that can do wonders, Pepper just moved in here from the neighbors 2 doors down, comes and goes as she pleases but stays her mostly and we feed and vet her. Thump is 13 years old, found him in the middle of a busy road, probably only 6 weeks old and not moving but barely alive, again, local vet pulled him through. Anybody notice something out of the ordinary with him?
Harry is the orange Tabby, Pepper is the gray and Thump is the black and white.

My last cat was a stray that passed in 2012 from FIV. Super cool dude my son named Richard.

My wife now has another stray cat that showed up two weeks after she lost her long time, 17yrs, companion.
His name is Ernie and has nothing to do with me. Matter of fact, he hates me.
Found him as a kitten, he’s about 10 now.

When my Wife and I got married, our vows included: "For Better and Four Cats"! ?

Yes, she brought FOUR cats with her! Full disclosure... I love cats too!

Here is Scooter. He was the oldest and unfortunately he passed a couple of years ago:

Next is Ginger. She is a rescue by a daughter who decided she likes dogs more! She had HyperThyroid and we had to irradiate her with an isotope treatment.
Almost lost her to that, but she's thriving now:

This is Spirit. Another rescue by a son who has moved out to college. She has an enlarged heart and is under permanent medication. She is doing great, but getting old:

And finally, here is Guster. When we rescued him he was probably 24-48 hours from starving to death. Unfortunately, he is FIV and an eye infection lead to loosing his left eye. Then he had an inner ear infection which caused vestibular syndrome and he couldn't eat for 2 months. We had to feed him through a tube in his neck. He is doing well now:

So that's our "cat troop"! The good news for me is that we have spent more on the cats than I will EVER spend on mods for my Ranger... so I got that going for me!

And fair warning....
There isn't a cat on the planet that my Wife wouldn't adopt! So keep all your cats indoors, please!

The cats are really concerned about me working from home. They gotta make sure to check my work, and if I get distracted by games, they say "no more!". They also know how to act cute to get their way

He thinks he's a cat...doesn't come when called...does no tricks...fast as lightning...and makes no sound so we had to attach a bell to hear his movement ?

We have 7 cats but here is my girl, Jinxy (aka Jinxy-Brat). She just turned 12 years old in February. About 8 years ago she became sick and wouldn't eat. The vet diagnosed her with fatty liver disease and recommend I put her down. I took her home, learned about fatty liver disease, and with that knowledge, nursed her back to health.

This is Viveka, or Veka for short. She succumbed to FIP 4 years ago at 6 years of age. I've lost many pets, but losing Veka was the hardest pill to swallow. I still get choked up and teary eyed when I think about her. She knew how to play fetch !

We have 5 Maine Coons that we show in CFA cat shows. We also have 2 rescues.

Stunning Cats! They are gorgeous!

Below are our two farm cats and one special needs former pet store cat.

black one is Eva. She is the most FRIENDLY cat I have ever met. Come over and she will be curling up on your lap in minutes. She is the former shop kitty.

orange tabby is a farm cat. We picked her up from the farm. They advertised in the local penny pincher free kittens.

Gray tabby is also a farm cat. After we picked her up, the next day some kids killed all her brothers and sisters for fun. I never heard what happened to them. She is 18 years old in that picture. She is still the queen kitty in the house. We had to have her declawed after she drew blood from a few people. Her last act before claw removal was to split open my mother in laws nose.
