Literally, I'm thinking of buying a '25 Ranger (FX4) tomorrow. I've owned plenty of Fords prior. I know this is the Internet, so plenty of opinions, (which is good). I'm "gifting" my Son my 2018 F150 4x4, (he'll make some small cash payments. Nothing is "free") :like:. Wifey-pooh drives our 24 Braptor.

I'm looking at 2025 Ranger XLT, with FX4 package. It'll be my daily driver, plus when I go out on the weekends for plinking (in the off road trails)

TIA,
-Jav
Not sure about the new ones but my 2021 Ranger just turned 148,000 miles and has just now developed the first actual “broke / fix” issue which is a failing driveshaft center support bearing. It had 7 (seven) miles on it when I drove it off the lot in January of 21 and has performed absolutely flawless to this point. Not the first issue or problem. It has had every single maintenance recommended by Ford and goes in every 5000 miles for whatever it needs. I can’t say one bad word about the truck.
Hope his helps with your decision and good luck.

Yeah, you got that whole RTT thing going on.

Less than 100,000 kms - not bad for a six year old truck. No issues - truck running great. You still camping in the snow?

Well here she is. Just picked her up today. Very very happy with her! I was using a 2018 F-150 (RCSB) 4x4 as my daily driver. I'm now going to pass that down to my son.

This Ranger is just awesome. Count me as a happy new member of the club!

again, my apologies for posting a 6G question here, but you folks have been very helpful!

Clay, you've got to give him credit. He resisted trying to sell OP a damper and, like @rang19ca noted, 303 graphene so far. I'm assuming he hasn't gotten around to unpacking the small trailer with his own stuff yet. Probably exhausted from unpacking Annie's fleet of trucks.

Good point, I hadn't thought about the aforementioned damper. Then again, I'm so old school that my truck doesn't have one. Good enough as is.

Oh I have it all unpacked I was just going easy on him on his first day. The new Rangers come stock with a damper now but the Graphene will always be a necessity. lol

Gregg, you really need some 303 Graphene for that new Ranger. 😜
