I'll agree with you, a lower stance is a preference to some people.
they already offer one of the performance packages with lifts etc.
with that said, the lowered crowd is probably a less visible minority.
but, in the effort to stream line production, they have to draw the line somewhere.

for the most part they capture the demographic they seek, and there are aftermarket options for those that require something outside of the norm.
Yep.
I shopped around for a lowering kit (like people shop around for lifted gear), but could not afford the whole package or even justify the cost on a new truck.
After 2 years, and already seeing/feeling the rear shocks deteriorating, I treated myself to some Bilsteins.

Because I had no interest in the Chevy.
Had a Tacoma and Frontier in the past and needed something better for towing.

Happy!
For the life of me, I cannot understand that you would look at, test drive, be pissed off about it's height, but buy it anyway.

You seem more upset than me.
And don't understand my choice so move on...

I just read 10 pages of I don’t know what! ? If you hate your 2019 Ranger and the way it drives have I got a deal for you! Just installed NEW shocks too! They’re a takeoff of a FX4 Ranger. Rides like a dream and a REAL babe magnet.

I’m taking a loss but even trade ok?

Does it come with an engine cover, xtra tie-downs, and rocker hole covers ???
I may consider, but only if you throw in a set of hubcaps (don't have to be matching) , and a set of Boomba engine accessories, in green...
It will be the perfect tow vehicle for my new trailer...

I wasn't going to comment on this thread, but this comment caught me by surprise. How tall are you? My 5'3" wife has never complained about getting in and out of the Ranger.

I didn't/dont like the stock height of the truck either. Lowered it as soon as the kit was available.

My 9 year old just gets a running start and supermans into the back seat LOL. Also, in the spirit of refunds, I think I would like a refund on my windshield! Damn thing gets in the way of the nice breeze!

I just had Bilstein shocks installed on my 2020 XLT last week.
Are they better? Hell yes. More control and less wallowing.
Were the originals OK? yep (even said so the day I bought the truck), but they were already bouncing around too much on the pothole infested roads I was driving on.
Plus, I tow a 5,500lb trailer and I can't wait to see how much better it rides with the new shocks.
The front stocks are good for now.

What really pisses me off is the height of the truck.
Just because I wanted a 4 X 4, didn't mean I wanted something this high!!!
I got it for traction on ice and snow in our Canadian winters. Not for off-roading.
Ford should have a "standard" 4 X 4 truck that is 1.5" shorter in the front and 4"s in the rear.
Then option out a medium 4 X 4 offering at the height it is now.
THEN offer a lifted FX4 for the real off road enthusiasts.

I hate the fact the truck sits so high off the ground (specially the rear).
just ask ford to reimburse you. i read somewhere recently that your chances are really good that they will
