Shelf life of coolant and brake fluid

What’s the shelf life of coolant and brake fluid? Thinking on getting a container of each (Motorcraft) in case I need it.
Honestly, I’ve never had to add any (between routine maintenance)in the last 20 years of owning a vehicle, but the Ranger (and Ford) seems to have a “specific” flavor, so maybe it’s best to have on hand on recommendation of my friend, Justin Case.

Brake fluid about 2 years, less if opened iirc
Coolant I've used 10year old stuff.

Brake fluid probably depends on if the container is open or not and where it's stored, as I'm relatively sure it'll absorb moisture from the air.

Unsure about the coolant.

People have probably used 20 year old samples of each and been fine though lol.

Every 5 years we used to flush our brake systems. Ahh the joys of drinking brake fluid.
