We need to start moving back toward more analog devices. We don't need a chip behind every button in our cars telling the main cpu to turn on the heat, ac, butt warmer, etc. Same for everything else we have, less chips is better.

This statement, by itself, could be the basis of a very active internet forum to rival Ranger 5G. It probably already exists.

I have two nice bicycles. The grocery store is 1.8 miles from my house. I can't pedal, or even walk there and back because there is no safe path. Unfortunately, our infrastructure design assumes that everyone will drive a car. I just purchased a Prius Prime plug-in hybrid to share the garage with my Ranger, so I can make this short trip without unnecessary risk of death while burning zero gasoline. We don't need alternative cars, we need alternatives to cars.

Department of Redundancy Department:
Why do we need steering wheel controls, touch screen controls , voice command and physical buttons all with the same functions to operate the infotainment?

Why do we need multiple My Key settings as standard equipment? I'm not going to start a poll, but I would guess that I could count on one hand the the number of 5G-ers' that have them programmed.

Is all the logic built into the Battery Monitoring System really that much better than a $20 voltage regulator?
