Andy, is there a preference one way or another on the shock mounting, and why? Just trying to get educated, being this is my first truck.

I was hoping that on the Lariat they would use a load leveling system. On our '16 Escape, the 220# tongue weight of the boat rig tilts the headlight beams up enough that a few drivers will flash me when pulling the rig home at night.

@rangerdanger I'm sorry you didnt like the interior too much. Funny thing was I didnt think it was the center stack at all which is what I was expecting to not like. It was everything left of the steering wheel. My lariat seats were also kinda hard. I'm not sure why they made the storage area so weird. The colorado has the best storage system.
The “premium cloth” in the XLT was good. Maybe they used a low quality leather in the Lariat.

I agree the interior side panels felt cheap and had too much flex. They didn’t feel sturdy at all. Lots of hard plastic, but what do you expect in a non-luxury vehicle.

This was a pre-production truck wasn't it (no DS Grab handle)?

Did you (or anyone) notice the mileage on the truck?

Yes, pre-production truck so no grab handle.

It had 3,400 miles!

Lariat does not have leather seats, it has leather TRIMMED seats. So mostly "pleather" like my Colorado I suppose.

I signed up for the tour at the San Antonio Auto show next week. Does that mean I get to test drive one?
I received an email last week stating I would receive an email next week with all details for the drive event at the SA auto show.

Can you ask what type gas they recommend for towing? And for normal use? Thanks

Anyone able to fold down the gate and get a look at whether the factory spray liner fully covers between the gate and bed or not? Thanks.

It is the Ford's Toughbed so it's going to be the best coverage and quality.

Per the owners manual, regular (87) for daily driving and premium (93) for hauling/towing
